NPCIL Narora Apprentices 2026: 80 Actual Training Seats, 12 Disciplines, and the Full Selection-to-Training Lifecycle
Advertisement NAPS/HRM/APPRENTICE/02/2026 | Narora Atomic Power Station, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh | Last online submission: 18 November 2026, 16:00 IST.
NPCIL is a Government of India enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy. Narora Atomic Power Station is inviting apprentices, not permanent employees. The intake comprises three different statutory training routes: Trade Apprentices with a full-time/regular matching ITI certificate, Diploma Apprentices with the corresponding regular engineering diploma, and Graduate Apprentices with either an eligible engineering degree or an eligible non-engineering graduate qualification for the three administrative streams. The three tracks do not have interchangeable educational rules, age limits, registration portals or stipend amounts. A candidate should decide the route first, then identify the exact discipline and check its actual category seat allocation.
The training site is Narora Atomic Power Station, Narora, PO NAPS Township, District Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh 203389. Its controlled/protected character makes District Police Authority verification and competent-authority medical fitness part of the engagement process; a high merit position cannot waive these conditions. Eligible residents within 16 km of the plant receive first preference, subject to the advertised reservation pattern. Being an outsider does not automatically bar an application, but outsider consideration arises where the required local eligible candidates are not available. This makes location evidence strategically important, not a formality.
Source discipline: All vacancy, qualification, salary/stipend, contract and procedural claims below derive from the 14-page NPCIL bilingual advertisement, pages cited in section headings. Where this article offers topic checklists or likely training-area examples, those are editorial suggestions only, not an official curriculum, promise of plant access, CBT syllabus, announced interview or specified job duty. Hindi and English both appear in the advertisement; it explicitly says the English version prevails in the event of a discrepancy (page 14).
🧭 Candidate decision dashboard — exact conditions
| Applicant question | Official answer / practical implication |
|---|---|
| Is this a regular NPCIL vacancy? | No. Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 / Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. No entitlement to permanent employment. |
| Which plant? | Narora Atomic Power Station, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh; one training location, not all-India posting. |
| Vacancy count | 80 total: Trade 50, Diploma 16, Graduate 14 across 12 separately named streams. |
| Application opening | 29 October 2026 at 10:00 IST. This is an application start date; the PDF does not separately establish an issue date. |
| Final submission deadline | 18 November 2026 at 16:00 IST on NPCIL Careers, after required NAPS/NATS action. |
| Base age cutoff | 18 November 2026: Trade 18–24, Diploma 18–25, Graduate 18–26 years; relaxations as applicable. |
| Required prior experience | No minimum employment experience stated. Existing or completed Apprentices Act apprenticeship generally disqualifies. |
| Paid amount | Stipend, not salary: 1-year ITI ₹10,560; 2-year ITI ₹11,040; Diploma ₹10,900; Graduate ₹12,300 per month. |
| Training period | Maximum 12 months. |
| Application fee | Not specified in the original notification; do not interpret silence as a newly confirmed zero-fee policy. |
| First locality preference | Eligible permanent residents within 16 km; qualifying non-local applications can be considered if matching local candidates are unavailable. |
| Selection | Matching qualifying-course percentage of marks, applicable category + local preference; ties: older DOB, then higher 10th percentage. |
| Announced written exam? | No CBT, exam date, syllabus, admit-card or answer-key notice for this intake. |
| Before engagement | Document verification with originals, District Police Authority police verification, medical fitness, apprenticeship contract. |
| Accommodation and transport | NPCIL explicitly states no hostel and no transport facility. |
| What happens after training? | Contract ends by its terms; no automatic appointment, absorption, or assurance of NPCIL employment. |

📊 Actual vacancy matrix, horizontal reservation and selection opportunities — PDF pp. 1–3
The 80 seats are not one interchangeable pool. Before calculating a chance of selection, read the row for your discipline and eligibility route. For example, a Civil Diploma holder cannot take a vacant Mechanical Diploma seat merely because both are classified as Diploma Apprentices.
📊 Seat distribution across the three qualification routes
| Apprenticeship route | Seats |
|---|---|
| ITI Trade | 50 |
| Diploma | 16 |
| Graduate | 14 |
The three shares are 62.5% Trade, 20% Diploma, 17.5% Graduate. This is a genuine parts-of-whole chart. It is not a measure of your competition because no application count or category-wise competitor pool is published.
📊 Central-category vertical seat comparison
| Reservation category | Seats |
|---|---|
| UR | 35 |
| OBC-NCL | 21 |
| SC | 16 |
| EWS | 8 |
| ST | 0 |
Interpretation: UR 35 (43.75%), OBC-NCL 21 (26.25%), SC 16 (20%) and EWS 8 (10%). The PDF has zero ST-allocated seats in this 80-seat roster. That does not by itself imply an ST applicant is barred from competing for UR on applicable merit conditions; it only means there is no advertised ST-specific seat. OBC reservation is explicitly for non-creamy-layer candidates, and certificate validity is checked in Central Government format.
📊 Discipline-by-discipline announced seats
| Discipline | Seats |
|---|---|
| ITI Electrician | 25 |
| ITI Fitter | 16 |
| ITI Electronics Mechanic | 9 |
| Diploma Mechanical | 5 |
| Diploma Electrical | 3 |
| Diploma Electronics | 2 |
| Diploma Civil | 6 |
| Graduate Mechanical | 4 |
| Graduate Electrical | 3 |
| Graduate Human Resource | 3 |
| Graduate Finance and Accounts | 2 |
| Graduate Contract and Material Management | 2 |
Full notified category-wise table — not reconstructed percentages
| Route and exact trade / discipline | SC | ST | OBC-NCL | EWS | UR | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trade — ITI Electrician | 5 | 0 | 7 | 2 | 11 | 25 |
| Trade — ITI Fitter | 4 | 0 | 4 | 2 | 6 | 16 |
| Trade — ITI Electronics Mechanic | 2 | 0 | 2 | 1 | 4 | 9 |
| Diploma — Mechanical | 1 | 0 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 5 |
| Diploma — Electrical | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 3 |
| Diploma — Electronics | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 2 |
| Diploma — Civil | 1 | 0 | 2 | 1 | 2 | 6 |
| Graduate — Mechanical | 1 | 0 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 4 |
| Graduate — Electrical | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 3 |
| Graduate — Human Resource | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 3 |
| Graduate — Finance & Accounts | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 2 |
| Graduate — Contract & Material Management | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 2 |
| All streams | 16 | 0 | 21 | 8 | 35 | 80 |
Do not double-count PwBD: The official PDF earmarks 2 Trade + 1 Diploma + 1 Graduate = 4 PwBD seats and provides discipline-specific identified disabilities on pp. 5–8. These are within the 80 seats (horizontal reservation), not 84 total. The source does not provide a precise additional PwBD seat in each of the 12 discipline rows, so we do not invent one. PwBD candidature depends on at least 40% benchmark disability and the exact identified suitability for the chosen discipline; a broad disability category name is insufficient without consulting the original tables.
Which comparison matters to a candidate? An ITI Electronics Mechanic has 9 designated seats, not access to the 25 Electrician seats; a Commerce graduate may be able to assess the three administrative Graduate streams under the advertised broad non-engineering degree condition, but must select the relevant individual discipline and employer classification. Seat count alone never overrules the official qualification or locality requirements.
🎓 Eligibility route A: Trade Apprentices — ITI Electrician, Fitter, Electronics Mechanic
The official minimum is a full-time/regular ITI pass certificate in the exact notified trade (PDF p. 3). Trades have 50 seats, with base age 18–24 years on 18 November 2026. The actual ITI course must be completed and supported by certificate and mark sheets. A diploma or B.Tech in a neighbouring field does not, merely by being a higher qualification, substitute for an ITI pass certificate in that same named trade. The advert does not impose a separately stated 5-year course-completion window on Trade ITI applicants: the 5-year restriction in clause 7(f) specifically concerns Diploma/Graduate qualifications and the NATS portal.
On payment, one-year ITI course holders get ₹10,560/month and two-year ITI course holders ₹11,040/month. This is based on documented course duration, not an arbitrary choice between two stipend offers. Applicants should inspect the duration named on their actual recognition/qualification documents. There is no advertised written trade test or selection marks bonus for prior job experience. Previous completed or ongoing statutory apprenticeship is a disqualifier rather than a desirable credential.
🎓 Eligibility route B: Diploma Apprentices — Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil
These 16 seats require a full-time/regular diploma in engineering/technology in the corresponding discipline, issued by the specified recognised state council/board, university or equivalent Government-recognised institution (PDF p. 4). The base age is 18–25 as on 18 November. The monthly diploma stipend is ₹10,900. An Electronics Diploma holder must compare against Diploma Electronics, not ITI Electronics Mechanic or Graduate Electrical. A Civil Engineering diploma gives access to the advertised Diploma Civil stream, not automatic access to graduate engineering programmes.
Clause 7(f), PDF p. 9, is a significant extra filter: Diploma qualifying examination must have been passed within five years of 18 November 2026 to apply on NATS 2.0. Candidates with a borderline completion date should use the official exam passing date supported by their records and confirm calculation through the institute/NATS; do not treat a later provisional certificate printing date as the date the exam was passed. Distance, part-time or mode exceptions are not advertised. Older diploma qualifications should not be presented as NATS-eligible without a genuine clarification.
🎓 Eligibility route C: Graduate Apprentices — technical and general degree streams
The 14 Graduate seats have two genuinely distinct academic families (PDF p. 4): Mechanical and Electrical Graduate require a recognised full-time/regular engineering/technology degree in that matching branch (or the precisely stated professional-body equivalent). Human Resource; Finance & Accounts; Contract & Material Management accept eligible general-stream non-engineering degrees, exemplified by BBA, BA, B.Sc. and B.Com., or recognised equivalents. The notification does not announce a special MBA/M.Com requirement, nor does it define a separate strict named subject-degree allocation for the three administrative Graduate streams. Do not manufacture either rule.
The Graduate route's base age is 18–26 years as on 18 November, and stipend is ₹12,300/month. The same five-year NATS pass-out filter applies. Although the administrative disciplines have different prospective learning focuses, the official degree condition groups them under general-stream graduates; candidates should carefully select the relevant stream and compare their abilities rather than declaring an arbitrary exclusion for BA or B.Sc. candidates.
Age and category check: use the correct route, not '18–26 for everyone'
📊 Different published upper-age caps before relaxation
| Candidate route | Base upper age in years |
|---|---|
| ITI Trade | 24 |
| Diploma | 25 |
| Graduate | 26 |
The reference date is 18 November 2026. The advert's standard category table states up to 5 years SC/ST, up to 3 years OBC-NCL upper-age relaxation; for eligible PwBD categories it states General/EWS +10, OBC-NCL +13, SC/ST +15 (p. 3). These are upper-age rules, not guaranteed increments for all persons claiming a category, and PwBD eligibility also depends on the designated suitable trade and 40% or higher certified disability. Minimum-age wording nuance: the vacancy table uses 'minimum 18' while general condition 7(a) says 'above 18'; confirm borderline eligibility from NPCIL rather than silently converting that difference into a new disqualification.
Two date traps that remove eligibility
- A Diploma or Graduate award older than the permitted five-year NATS window can fail the training-platform gate even if the relevant discipline is correct.
- A candidate who already completed, is undergoing, or absconded from an Apprentices Act, 1961 apprenticeship is expressly ineligible; ordinary employment/work experience is not itself labelled as previous apprenticeship. Do not conflate a private job with a registered apprenticeship contract.
🧮 Selection explained from start to finish — not a fictional competitive exam (PDF p. 9)
The advertised shortlist is determined by percentage of marks in the relevant qualifying ITI/diploma/degree. A candidate's correct stream and reservation category are considered with the eligible local residents within 16 km receiving first preference. This is not a universal ranking where a non-local 95% candidate automatically beats a local eligible 85% candidate. Nor is locality a domicile-only eligibility bar: the source expressly permits eligible outsiders to be considered if enough qualifying local candidates are unavailable in the applicable category allocation.
The publication does not supply an application-volume denominator, a guaranteed marks threshold, a shortlist multiplier, a CBT, an interview calendar, a syllabus, a response-sheet/answer-key process, a category cut-off or an exact shortlist publication date. All those should remain unannounced. The decision point is the candidate's actual percentage under the correct branch, not any coaching website's guessed cut-off.
Official merit tie-break algorithm
| If candidates are tied... | Next official decision |
|---|---|
| Same qualifying-course percentage | Earlier date of birth (the older candidate) receives priority. |
| The date of birth is also the same | Higher Class 10 / Matriculation percentage is ranked first. |
| Still indistinguishable afterward | Not specified in the original PDF; no invented third tie-break. |
Illustrative example, not an official actual shortlist: if two eligible candidates in the same relevant comparison group both hold 82.6% in the same matching course, the person born 16 June 2003 ranks above the person born 2 December 2003 on the published second test. If both were born on the same day, the one with 10th percentage 85% rather than 79% takes precedence. These arithmetic examples are only to explain the rule; an actual merit comparison must still respect residence preference and category rosters.
Local 16-km preference: how to prepare evidence
Do not interpret 'Bulandshahr district' or 'Uttar Pradesh domicile' as identical to living within 16 km of the Narora plant site. The advertisement states a radius, not a full-district waiver; it asks local claimants to produce permanent-address residential proof at upload and verification. An address near Narora without acceptable documentary evidence should not be presented as a verified local-priority claim. For outsiders, the correct description is eligible to be considered if the relevant eligible local candidates are unavailable, not 'automatically disqualified'. The source does not publish locality-wise quota percentages or a priority scoring bonus, so these must not be made up.
CGPA / SGPA / CPI handling and merit evidence
Original notice pp. 11–12 directs applicants awarded CGPA/GPA/SGPA or letter grades to furnish their own institute's authenticated percentage-conversion table. Only when the institute's method is not available does the document supply a multi-scale fallback table with rows at 55%, 60%, 65%; the example reference figures include, on the 10-point scale, 5.9 at 55%, 6.5 at 60%, and 7.0 at 65%. The printed fallback is a table of reference equivalences, not a licence to invent a universal formula such as 'CGPA × 9.5' for every institute. Prepare actual grade sheets, the university conversion rule and a transparently derived percentage; unclear cases require authorised confirmation before claiming a precise rank.
📝 Application procedure — three separate actions, two establishment IDs (PDF pp. 13–14)
Step 1: Decide your educational route and register with the correct national training portal. ITI Trade candidates register on NAPS 2.0 at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. Diploma and Graduate candidates register on NATS 2.0 at nats.education.gov.in. An NAPS number is not interchangeable with a NATS number. Supply correct personal identification, recognition of the qualification, actual passing information and the national portal's required supporting documents. The advertisement additionally asks that your bank account is Aadhaar-seeded; do not assume the existence of Aadhaar automatically proves bank seeding.
Step 2: Apply to Narora's exact establishment on the same national training portal. Trade Apprentices: E05200901473. Diploma/Graduate Apprentices: NUPBUC093592. The official notice expressly warns that applications will not be accepted if the appropriate establishment ID has not been used. The establishment selection is a separate action after candidate registration; obtaining a portal login alone is insufficient. Preserve the acknowledgement/registration number and the selected establishment evidence.
Step 3: Complete the separate NPCIL Careers online application at npcilcareers.co.in between 29 October 2026, 10:00 and 18 November 2026, 16:00. Upload the applicable records and submit successfully. The notice requires the NPCIL form in addition to national registration and establishment application; an applicant who finishes only one website has not completed the notified route. No offline form, WhatsApp, newspaper reply or email-only substitute is advertised.
Which documents should be prepared before pressing Submit?
- Identity and DOB: birth certificate or SSC/Class 10 certificate with date of birth, plus Class 10 mark sheet and available Class 12 records as applicable.
- Exact trade / discipline evidence: ITI pass certificate, Diploma qualification or Graduate degree; all semester/year mark sheets. For PG-degree holders, no new PG requirement is created by this apprenticeship notice.
- Grade conversion: authenticated institution conversion chart when marks are CGPA/GPA/SGPA/letter grade; distinguish it from an arbitrary online CGPA calculator.
- Reservation documents: valid Central Government-format SC/ST/OBC category evidence where applicable; OBC-NCL must carry appropriate non-creamy-layer status, EWS income/assets certificate valid for 2026–27, and PwBD certificate (at least 40% plus discipline suitability).
- Local residence proof: permanent-address documentation if seeking the within-16-km preference.
- National portal / bank: valid personal email/mobile, NAPS/NATS number, correct establishment registration and Aadhaar-seeded bank account.
- For verification/joining: signed online application, originals with self-attested copies, district-police-issued police verification, Aadhaar, PAN, bank details and two recent passport photographs.
Photograph and signature: the actual digital specifications (p. 14)
| Upload item | JPEG/JPG and mandatory range |
|---|---|
| Colour photograph | Not more than 50 KB; dimensions minimum 240 × 180 and maximum 640 × 480 pixels; light/ideally white background, eyes visible and no lens reflections. |
| Signature scan | Not more than 20 KB; dimensions minimum 80 × 200 and maximum 160 × 560 pixels. |
The printed dimension order is preserved above; do not substitute a photo compressor's default 1:1 output without checking both pixel limits. File-size compliance does not automatically mean an image is acceptable: an irrelevant/non-human photograph is explicitly cited as a disqualification ground.
Final-submission risk checklist
| Risk | Why it matters / prevention |
|---|---|
| Wrong training portal | ITI → NAPS 2.0; Diploma/Graduate → NATS 2.0; fix before the deadline. |
| Forgot employer establishment application | Use E05200901473 (Trade) or NUPBUC093592 (Diploma/Graduate); save evidence. |
| Registered nationally, omitted NPCIL form | NPCIL online application remains independently mandatory by 18 November at 16:00 IST. |
| Incorrect course/branch selection | Your precise ITI/diploma/engineering or non-engineering graduation category must match the selected stream. |
| Old qualifying diploma/degree | NATS applicants must satisfy the five-year pass-out condition counted against the 18 November close. |
| Unsupported mark conversion | Keep authorised college/university conversion proof; don't insert a guessed percentage. |
| Claimed local status without residence proof | First preference uses the 16-km plant-site radius, not a blanket district certificate. |
| Invalid OBC-NCL / EWS documentation | Central-format OBC-NCL and EWS 2026–27 validity matter at verification. |
| Incorrect or inconsistent photo | Observe size/dimension conditions; use a real recent colour portrait. |
| Left for 16:00 on the deadline | It is the closing time, not merely the closing date. Submit and save the confirmation beforehand. |
The official PDF does not specify any application fee; avoid promising ₹0 if a later site-specific notice or portal requirement exists. Treat the fee as Not specified until the recruiting authority confirms an amount or an exemption.
📚 Complete recruitment-to-training lifecycle — what happens at every stage
1. JOB / Recruitment notification — ACTIVE APPLICATION WINDOW
The live notification's confirmed milestones are only the 29 October 2026, 10:00 opening and 18 November 2026, 16:00 closure. Twelve named trades/disciplines form the vacancy hierarchy, and their category roster is definitive unless NPCIL later publishes a corrigendum. No amendment, revised seat allocation or changed deadline should be assumed from this original PDF alone. Before the deadline, candidates must complete NAPS/NATS registration → correct employer establishment → NPCIL Careers application. Reading any recruitment information page does not submit the required official application.
2. EXAM — NO EXAM ANNOUNCED
This is a marks-based apprentice shortlist. NPCIL has not announced CBT, written test, interview, aptitude assessment, testing centres, duration, negative marking or qualifying scores. There is no authentic examination record to link unless NPCIL separately announces a written assessment. Preparing from generic nuclear-power or trade-exam books will not change the officially specified qualifying-course percentage. Candidates should devote preparation to correct document compilation, percentage proof, residence eligibility and safe apprenticeship expectations rather than treat an invented mock-test score as a selection stage.
3. SYLLABUS — NO OFFICIAL EXAM SYLLABUS
There is consequently no notified exam syllabus or marks distribution for this particular 80-seat intake. Educational topic checklists in individual post profiles are explicitly editorial training-readiness suggestions, not an official NPCIL examination syllabus, and do not imply testing at interview or assignment to sensitive nuclear systems. ITI holders can refresh their own trade qualification; Diploma/engineering graduates can revisit their own discipline; administration graduates can review the functional role of HR, financial records or contract/material procedures. None of those study topics carries an official scoring weightage here.
4. ADMIT CARD / Call Letter — NOT ANNOUNCED
No exam admit card, examination venue allocation or exact shortlist/call-letter download date is published. The original recruitment materials may later direct candidates to document verification or another administrative step through NPCIL Careers; only an actual NPCIL notice establishes such a release. Until then, candidates should monitor official updates rather than try guessed admit-card links.
5. PROVISIONAL ANSWER KEY — NOT APPLICABLE ON CURRENT ANNOUNCED PROCESS
No written exam means the advertisement sets out no question paper, provisional response keys, objection fee or objection window. Do not produce a synthetic answer-key record, date or link. Only a subsequent authority-issued change to the selection procedure would justify reporting an answer-key stage.
6. FINAL ANSWER KEY — NOT ANNOUNCED
For the same reason there is no final key or post-objection score recalculation mechanism stated. Inventing a final-key event would mislead candidates seeking a result.
7. RESULT / Merit / Shortlist — OFFICIAL DATE NOT RELEASED
The announced evaluation uses qualifying-course marks, the local-first rule, and actual vertical category seats. Equal percentages are resolved by older date of birth, then by higher 10th-standard percentage if birth dates coincide. The actual result/shortlist publication date, minimum selected percentage, number of candidates and any individual merit position are not specified. A later official list or notice, if issued, should be reported only after it is publicly available from NPCIL.
8. CUTOFF — NOT PUBLISHED
There is no minimum merit cut-off, qualifying minimum academic percentage or past-year benchmark supplied for this specific intake. Academic percentages are used to rank applicants; this is not equivalent to a prescribed 60%, 70% or 80% cutoff. Category allocation and a first-local preference complicate any prediction. No cutoff figure should be reported unless the recruiting authority publishes one.
9. DOCUMENT VERIFICATION — MANDATORY BEFORE ENGAGEMENT, DATE UNANNOUNCED
Bring signed NPCIL online application plus originals and self-attested copies of DOB/SSC, marks sheets (10th and all course semesters), final ITI/diploma/degree, college conversion certificate, and applicable Central-format SC/ST/OBC-NCL, EWS 2026–27, PwBD, local permanent-address certificate. Additional original inspection documents include Aadhaar, PAN, bank account particulars and two photographs (PDF pp. 11–12). Mismatched percentage, age, local status or category evidence can invalidate provisional eligibility even after apparent shortlist inclusion.
10. POLICE VERIFICATION / SECURITY CLEARANCE — REQUIRED FOR PROTECTED SITE
The advertisement says apprentices will be engaged only after a Police Verification Certificate issued by District Police Authorities is supplied. The candidate should check the applicable district-police process and required lead time, rather than assume a generic online 'police clearance acknowledgement' is equivalent to the specified certificate. The source does not announce a single verification appointment date or promise expedited security processing.
11. MEDICAL FITNESS — REQUIRED, NOT A CASUAL FORMALITY
The competent authority must find the selected candidate medically fit under Apprentices Act/Rules and NPCIL's stated criteria. PDF p. 8 lists baseline height 137 cm or more, weight 25.4 kg or more, and chest expansion at least 3.8 cm, along with infective-disease and tuberculosis conditions. These figures are recorded as the notice states them; the official authority applies all medical standards, including relevant PwBD accommodation/assessment rules. Applicants should not self-certify final fitness or infer an exemption absent an official instruction. No actual medical appointment date is published.
12. ENGAGEMENT / CONTRACT / JOINING — FUTURE, CONDITIONAL
Engaged apprentices enter an Apprenticeship Contract under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. Training is for maximum 12 months at Narora, and monthly stipend depends on route/course duration as above. A training absence may expose an apprentice to stipend/training-cost recovery as determined under the statutory rules (PDF p. 10). There is no hostel or NPCIL-provided transport. The PDF supplies no official joining date, reporting batch list or posting to another nuclear site. No fabricated joining letter link should be created.
13. DURING TRAINING — SUPERVISED APPRENTICESHIP, NOT UNSUPERVISED REACTOR OPERATIONS
An apprentice follows the allocated training programme, safety and security instructions and employer supervision. The notice does not list independent work assignments or the curriculum for a particular plant system. Do not read discipline-based editorial familiarisation topics as permission or a guarantee to work on nuclear-critical equipment. Attendance and compliance matter, and the statutory contract governs early termination or extension.
14. END OF TRAINING / APPOINTMENT — NO PERMANENT JOB PROMISE
The statutory training contract ordinarily ends when the notified apprenticeship period ends. NPCIL is not obligated to offer employment, and apprentices have no claim to regularisation or absorption. Any subsequent regular vacancy would need its own official eligibility, advertised selection process and application. A training-completion credential should not be described as an automatic job offer or appointment letter.
15. CORRIGENDUM MONITORING — CHECK OFFICIAL NPCIL CAREERS ONLY
The notice reserves management's right to alter discipline seats or cancel all/part of the process and explicitly states that corrigenda/addenda will appear only on npcilcareers.co.in (p. 9). Because the source provides no fixed merit/DV/medical dates, the only defensible future update is a dated, separately verified official publication. Preserve the existing advert identity and update its linked lifecycle records when those official records materialise.
💰 Stipend compared with employment conditions
| Training route and course basis | Monthly amount stated in original notice |
|---|---|
| One-year ITI course | ₹10,560 stipend |
| Two-year ITI course | ₹11,040 stipend |
| Any of four Diploma disciplines | ₹10,900 stipend |
| Any of five Graduate disciplines | ₹12,300 stipend |
These figures are fixed advertisement stipends, not pay matrix basic pay, take-home staff salaries or salary ranges dependent on negotiation. No regular employee allowances, housing allowance, hostel, transport or post-training NPCIL job is promised. The source does not give an individual tax illustration, security-deposit fee, service pay level or promotion path. Because it is only a maximum 12-month training period, applicants should plan their commute/housing costs independently. Any statutory adjustments to stipend require actual official confirmation.
🧾 Seven realistic applicant decisions — practical examples, not new rules
Decision 1 — ITI Electrician with 89% but a 2020 ITI certificate: Unlike Diploma/Graduate NATS applicants, Trade ITI candidates do not face a separately published five-year award-date condition in clause 7(f). Check full-time trade credentials, base-age/relaxation and prior apprenticeship status; do not reject an ITI candidate by silently importing NATS's restriction.
Decision 2 — Diploma Civil, qualification passed six years before closure: The five-year NATS gate is an eligibility risk independent of how high the Diploma percentage is. A newer certificate-printing date is not proof the qualifying examination itself occurred inside the window.
Decision 3 — B.Com graduate applying for Finance and Accounts: The official general-stream graduation rule includes B.Com as an example; an MBA or M.Com is not separately required by the advertisement. Candidate should select the correct Graduate route, satisfy NATS award-date/age rules and understand that the actual role is an apprenticeship training allocation, not an officer appointment.
Decision 4 — Mechanical B.Tech graduate applying for HR: The Graduate Mechanical engineering stream specifically asks for matching engineering. The published administrative streams discuss non-engineering general-stream degrees; a Mechanical B.Tech must not be casually treated as interchangeable with an administrative general-stream degree without NPCIL confirmation.
Decision 5 — Applicant resides 22 km from the plant: Non-local status does not automatically forbid applying, but the person will not be able to claim the within-16-km first preference. Selection consideration depends on category/local eligible supply and merit.
Decision 6 — OBC applicant with state-format certificate only: Because the source asks for Central Government format and specifically valid OBC-NCL status, the candidate should arrange compliant evidence rather than assume any state caste certificate establishes central reservation status.
Decision 7 — A shortlisted candidate with no police certificate: Even otherwise successful academic shortlisting does not remove the protected-site District Police Authority police verification condition. Plan for genuine processing, and do not assume the mere application for clearance is accepted as a certificate.

Q1. Is NPCIL Narora offering 80 permanent government jobs? No. These are 80 apprenticeships under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Employment after the training period is not promised.
Q2. What is the real final submission time? 18 November 2026 at 16:00 IST on NPCIL Careers, in addition to the required apprenticeship portal stages.
Q3. Can an outsider apply? Yes, non-local eligible candidates may be considered if qualifying local candidates within 16 km are unavailable for the relevant notified reservation distribution. They do not get equal first priority.
Q4. Does a Diploma Mechanical holder qualify for Graduate Mechanical? Not merely through the diploma. The Graduate engineering stream requires a corresponding qualifying engineering/technology degree.
Q5. Is there a written examination? No written exam is announced. Qualifying-course percentage determines shortlisting; the notice does not publish a CBT syllabus or exam date.
Q6. What is the exact sequence when marks tie? First, the older person (earlier DOB). If the DOB is also equal, higher 10th percentage.
Q7. Does the number 4 for PwBD mean 84 vacancies? No. Four PwBD seats are earmarked within the existing 80 and require suitable discipline identification in the PDF.
Q8. Is minimum 55% required in ITI/Diploma/Graduate course? The apprenticeship notification does not prescribe 55% as a common minimum. The 55%, 60%, 65% entries in the published CGPA table are reference conversion points, not published minimum eligibility percentages.
Q9. What does the five-year rule mean? Diploma and Graduate NATS applicants must have passed the qualifying exam within five years of 18 November 2026. It is not an automatic blanket rule for ITI Trade applicants.
Q10. Can someone who already completed apprenticeship apply? No, the general conditions disqualify candidates who have completed or are currently undergoing Apprentices Act apprenticeship in Government, PSU or private industrial organisation; absconders are also ineligible.
Q11. How much will an ITI apprentice receive monthly? ₹10,560 for a one-year ITI programme, ₹11,040 for a two-year ITI programme, subject to the actual documented course length.
Q12. Are there fees? Application fee Not specified in the PDF. No fee amount should be invented.
Q13. Do HR/Finance/Contract graduate streams require MBA? No separate MBA requirement is mentioned; a recognised general-stream degree, including BA/B.Sc./BBA/B.Com examples, is given. Check the candidate's specific selection of stream and recognition.
Q14. Is a government hostel provided during training? No. The advertisement expressly states that hostel and transport are not provided.
Q15. Are reservation certificates needed at online application or later? The portal lists uploads as applicable, and originals with self-attested copies are required at document verification. An OBC applicant needs valid Central Government-form non-creamy-layer evidence.
Q16. Does an NAPS/NATS account alone complete application? No. Apply to the correct Narora establishment ID and then submit the NPCIL Careers online form as well.
Q17. Is police verification optional for candidates from Narora? No. The advertised protected-plant requirement applies to engaged apprentices; locality preference does not replace district-police verification.
Q18. Does the article guarantee work on reactor controls? No. The advertisement announces broad apprenticeship streams and a plant site; it does not publish detailed curriculum assignments or promise access to regulated plant systems.
Q19. What happens if the site publishes a new shortlist or result? Consult only the NPCIL Careers official notice. The current PDF provides no result, answer-key, exam-admit-card or merit cutoff publication dates.
Q20. How is experience treated? No minimum employment experience is listed for selection; merit is based on qualifying academic marks. Previous/current statutory apprenticeship is, in contrast, an exclusion under the published rules.
Q21. Are all ST candidates barred? The published ST vertical allocation is zero, but do not translate this into an invented blanket bar against an otherwise qualified ST candidate competing on applicable unreserved terms.
Q22. What if a medical standard is disputed? The notice specifies minimum fitness figures and delegates fitness to the competent authority. A third-party article cannot promise medical clearance, waive criteria or adjudicate applicable PwBD accommodations.
Q23. May I change my email/phone later? The notice warns that once registered, changing email or phone is not permitted. Use a genuinely accessible long-lived contact method.
Q24. What should I verify right before applying? Qualification category, age on 18 Nov 2026, five-year NATS rule if relevant, one correct establishment ID, all-semester marks, institutional CGPA conversion evidence, actual 16-km residence proof if claimed, and final NPCIL submission receipt.

Trade Apprentice — ITI Electrician — exact 25-seat apprenticeship decision
What is the role actually offering?
Electrician installation and electrical maintenance fundamentals is the appropriate discipline-based learning orientation for this post. The source, however, offers an apprenticeship training seat, not an independent job designation, fixed department assignment or regular NPCIL vacancy. The actual Narora training plan is not published in the 14-page advertisement; do not claim that the applicant will operate equipment, approve official records or access restricted systems. Training period is maximum 12 months, with the applicable Apprentices Act agreement and site rules.
Exact reservation and eligibility — primary decision
Official p. 2 roster: 25 seats — SC 5, ST 0, OBC-NCL 7, EWS 2, UR 11. The category figures sum to 25, and none is a second or additional PwBD seat. There is a route-level horizontal PwBD earmark (Trade 2, Diploma 1, Graduate 1) along with disabilities designated by discipline in the PDF pp. 5–8. The 16-km Narora plant-site local preference applies subject to the correct category. It does not create a separate guaranteed local seat quota or make a candidate elsewhere in India automatically barred.
Mandatory education: Only a full-time/regular ITI Electrician certificate matches the designated trade; a generic electrical diploma is not a replacement for this ITI route. The notified qualification route is Trade, so the qualification must be genuine, full-time/regular and at the appropriate level. Document strategy: keep the named award certificate, every semester/year marks sheet, the academic recognition evidence, and institutional CGPA-to-percentage method if graded. The percentage from this eligible course is used for shortlisting, subject to the locality and reservation process; higher marks in an unrelated qualification are not an interchangeable substitute.
Age at 18 November 2026: base 18–24 years. Possible upper-age relaxation: SC/ST up to five years, OBC-NCL up to three years, and eligible PwBD General/EWS +10, OBC-NCL +13, SC/ST +15 as stated by the notice. These are conditional maximum relaxations, not new minimum ages. Do not import the NATS-specific five-year Diploma/Graduate pass-out condition into an ITI Trade application; the source does not expressly apply that restriction to this route.
Compensation: ₹10,560 (one-year ITI) or ₹11,040 (two-year ITI), as the qualification duration actually establishes, strictly apprenticeship stipend and not a wage scale. NPCIL does not promise employee allowances, hostel, transport, permanent absorption or a follow-on regular post. The terms differ from a 12-month fixed-term regular officer appointment.
What should the candidate understand about this distinct discipline?
Electrician training commonly begins with reading circuit and wiring diagrams, current/voltage/resistance relationships, fuse and breaker identification, earthing arrangements, cable terminations, electrical panels and instrumentation used in training. A learner should distinguish AC/DC theory, three-phase essentials and circuit-test readings from tasks requiring plant authorisation.
Scope and safety: For Narora, any hands-on activity is under the designated apprenticeship supervisors, local work permits and protected-site access controls. Do not interpret this educational orientation as permission to isolate equipment, switch power systems or work on nuclear safety equipment.
High-impact eligibility confusion: A high percentage from ITI Wireman, a general engineering diploma, or an electronics-specialist certificate does not automatically satisfy the named Electrician trade. Validate the award title and its regular/full-time mode.
Application and merit lifecycle for this exact stream
- Confirm ITI pass certificate in this exact trade, base upper age 24 and category validity on 18 November 2026. Prior/current statutory apprenticeship, absconding from earlier training and unsupported qualification modes are serious eligibility obstacles.
- Register under NAPS 2.0, obtain your own registration/acknowledgement, then submit to Narora establishment E05200901473 on that same national portal. Do not use the other route's establishment ID.
- Submit a separate NPCIL Careers online form before 18 November 2026, 16:00 IST. Keep date-of-birth, matching course marks, category, address and photograph consistent across the portals.
- If local, support your permanent residential address within 16 km with actual documents. If non-local, apply with the awareness that local candidates receive first preference and outsiders are considered if the appropriate eligible locals are unavailable.
- Merit/shortlist: no CBT/interview date announced; ranking uses relevant qualifying-course marks percentage. Equal percentage → older DOB; equal DOB → higher Matric/Class 10 percentage. No actual minimum merit cutoff or result date has been announced.
- Document verification: carry the signed application and originals plus self-attested copies, accurate mark/CGPA conversion and required category/local evidence. Joining is conditional on District Police Authority certificate and competent-authority medical fitness at the protected site.
- Training contract: on engagement sign the statutory apprenticeship agreement, comply with supervisory and safety requirements, and complete a period of up to 12 months. No regular NPCIL job is guaranteed; a future permanent role requires its own separate notice and procedure.
Specific preparation — clearly editorial, not an official syllabus
Use the education and learning topics above to audit your own familiarity and certificates, not as claimed NPCIL CBT chapters. Since there is no notified written test, an applicant gets more immediate value from ensuring the correct certificate title, genuine marks/conversion evidence, accurate local-status proof and complete dual-portal application. No exam, admit-card, answer-key, result or cutoff announcement has been published for this merit-based intake. Use only new NPCIL notices for future updates.

- A high percentage from **ITI Wireman**, a general engineering diploma, or an electronics-specialist certificate does not automatically satisfy the named Electrician trade. Validate the award title and its regular/full-time mode.
- Base age 18–24 years as on 18 Nov 2026; conditional SC/ST, OBC-NCL and suitable PwBD upper-age relaxations apply.
- No published NATS five-year diploma/graduate restriction applies automatically to Trade ITI.
- Use NAPS 2.0 employer establishment E05200901473 AND the independent NPCIL Careers application.
- Within-16-km eligible local residents receive first preference; non-local cases considered conditionally as advertised.

- Protected-plant joining requires district-police verification, medical fitness and a statutory training contract.
- Actual monthly stipend: ₹10,560 (one-year ITI) or ₹11,040 (two-year ITI), as the qualification duration actually establishes; no guaranteed permanent employment.

What should the candidate understand about this distinct discipline?
Useful self-review covers engineering drawings and dimensions, tolerances and fits, vernier/micrometer measurement principles, alignment and marking-out, hand tools, basic workshop assembly and traceable inspection records. A candidate should be capable of explaining how a measurement error propagates to assembly mismatch, without claiming experience in restricted station equipment.
Scope and safety: At a nuclear power station, apprentice workshop exposure—if assigned—is controlled by supervisors and safety authorisations. The PDF does not assign a particular pump, valve or reactor component to this trade.
High-impact eligibility confusion: Do not count 16 Fitter seats as general Mechanical openings. The official table names ITI Fitter only and allocates SC 4, OBC-NCL 4, EWS 2 and UR 6, with ST 0.

Diploma Apprentice — Mechanical — exact 5-seat apprenticeship decision
What is the role actually offering?
Mechanical engineering diploma-route fundamentals and maintenance documentation is the appropriate discipline-based learning orientation for this post.
Official p. 2 roster: 5 seats — SC 1, ST 0, OBC-NCL 1, EWS 1, UR 2. The category figures sum to 5, and none is a second or additional PwBD seat.
Mandatory education: A full-time/regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Technology from a recognised authority is required. This is NATS, not NAPS, and falls under the five-year pass-out condition. The notified qualification route is Diploma, so the qualification must be genuine, full-time/regular and at the appropriate level.
Age at 18 November 2026: base 18–25 years. Possible upper-age relaxation: SC/ST up to five years, OBC-NCL up to three years, and eligible PwBD General/EWS +10, OBC-NCL +13, SC/ST +15 as stated by the notice. These are conditional maximum relaxations, not new minimum ages. The source applies a five-year qualifying Diploma/Graduate pass-out condition for NATS 2.0 and this candidate must satisfy it.
Compensation: ₹10,900/month, strictly apprenticeship stipend and not a wage scale. NPCIL does not promise employee allowances, hostel, transport, permanent absorption or a follow-on regular post. The terms differ from a 12-month fixed-term regular officer appointment.
What should the candidate understand about this distinct discipline?
Potential technical orientation includes strength/material properties, fluid and thermal fundamentals, engineering drawings, rotating-equipment maintenance principles, lubrication records, dimensional inspection, preventive maintenance planning and defect trend reporting. A student should distinguish classroom knowledge from the actual plant training timetable, which NPCIL has not published.
Scope and safety: Do not promise field access or operational control of compressors, turbines, reactor systems or any protected equipment: the advertisement identifies the discipline and training plant, not specific departments.
High-impact eligibility confusion: Although Mechanical appears again as a Graduate stream, an applicant with only a diploma cannot select the four Graduate Mechanical seats. The Diploma Mechanical row contains SC 1, OBC 1, EWS 1, UR 2.
Application and merit lifecycle for this exact stream
- Confirm Diploma in this matching engineering discipline, base upper age 25 and category validity on 18 November 2026. Prior/current statutory apprenticeship, absconding from earlier training and unsupported qualification modes are serious eligibility obstacles.
- Register under NATS 2.0, obtain your own registration/acknowledgement, then submit to Narora establishment NUPBUC093592 on that same national portal.

Editorial review areas include power circuits, transformers, machines, protective devices, cable schedules, measurement of voltage/current and maintenance-log interpretation. Identify how a fault record differs from a permit-to-work, and why accurate isolation documentation matters, without performing operational procedures.
Scope and safety: There is no official statement that a Diploma Electrical apprentice will work on switchyards or safety-related systems. Training is under the employer’s safety and access arrangements.
High-impact eligibility confusion: All 3 seats in the Diploma Electrical row are SC 1 and UR 2, with no published OBC/EWS/ST allocation. An OBC applicant may still assess applicable UR eligibility, but cannot manufacture an OBC-reserved seat.

What is the role actually offering?
Diploma-level electronics, measurements and instrument records is the appropriate discipline-based learning orientation for this post. The source, however, offers an apprenticeship training seat, not an independent job designation, fixed department assignment or regular NPCIL vacancy. The actual Narora training plan is not published in the 14-page advertisement; do not claim that the applicant will operate equipment, approve official records or access restricted systems. Preparation can focus on basic analog/digital concepts, electronic measurement, sensor interfaces, circuit symbols, signal integrity, instrumentation logs, calibration concepts and safe handling of sensitive parts. This is familiarisation only; no board-based Electronics exam has been announced.
Scope and safety: Calibration of safety-critical devices or unsupervised plant adjustment is not promised. The protected station may allocate only approved training exercises.

Required: No · Description: No minimum work experience prescribed. Prior completed or ongoing Apprentices Act, 1961 apprenticeship in any government/PSU/private industrial entity excludes applicant, as does absconding from previous apprenticeship training.
Description: Base 18–25 years as on 18 November 2026; official table: SC/ST upper cap relaxation up to +5, OBC-NCL +3; PwBD Gen/EWS +10, OBC-NCL +13, SC/ST +15. Subject to category and identified discipline.
Diploma Apprentice — Civil — exact 6-seat apprenticeship decision
What is the role actually offering?
Civil engineering records, material testing literacy and construction documentation is the appropriate discipline-based learning orientation for this post.
Official p. 2 roster: 6 seats — SC 1, ST 0, OBC-NCL 2, EWS 1, UR 2. The category figures sum to 6, and none is a second or additional PwBD seat.
Mandatory education: The certificate must be a recognised full-time/regular Diploma in Civil Engineering/Technology. A generic construction-industry experience letter cannot replace it. The notified qualification route is Diploma, so the qualification must be genuine, full-time/regular and at the appropriate level.
Editorial readiness areas: survey measurements and levels, basic concrete ingredients/curing, reinforcement drawings, quantity measurements, drainage, geotechnical basics, material testing registers, measurement-book entries and defect reporting. The actual apprenticeship may instead follow any NPCIL-approved civil training curriculum; none is specified in the recruitment notice.
Scope and safety: Do not claim an apprentice will independently certify engineering work, inspect restricted buildings or supervise structural safety. Such tasks require professional authorisation and site access.
High-impact eligibility confusion: Diploma Civil has 6 seats (SC 1, OBC 2, EWS 1, UR 2) and a 25-year base upper age, unlike graduate engineering 26-year cap.
APPRENTICESHIP SCOPE ONLY — source does not assign independent employee duties. Focus of the advertised discipline: Civil engineering records, material testing literacy and construction documentation. Editorial training-readiness interpretation (not promised assignments): Editorial readiness areas: survey measurements and levels, basic concrete ingredients/curing, reinforcement drawings, quantity measurements, drainage, geotechnical basics, material testing registers, measurement-book entries and defect reporting. - Base age 18–25 years as on 18 Nov 2026; conditional SC/ST, OBC-NCL and suitable PwBD upper-age relaxations apply.
- Diploma/Graduate qualifying award must satisfy the 5-year NATS pass-out window as on 18 Nov 2026.
- Use NATS 2.0 employer establishment NUPBUC093592 AND the independent NPCIL Careers application.
- Within-16-km eligible local residents receive first preference; non-local cases considered conditionally as advertised.
- Merit by exact qualifying-course percentage; older DOB then higher 10th percentage on a tie; no CBT/notified cutoff.
- Protected-plant joining requires district-police verification, medical fitness and a statutory training contract.
- Actual monthly stipend: ₹10,900/month; no guaranteed permanent employment.

Graduate Apprentice — Mechanical — exact 4-seat apprenticeship decision
What is the role actually offering?
Degree-level mechanical engineering learning in a regulated industrial environment is the appropriate discipline-based learning orientation for this post. The source, however, offers an apprenticeship training seat, not an independent job designation, fixed department assignment or regular NPCIL vacancy. The actual Narora training plan is not published in the 14-page advertisement; do not claim that the applicant will operate equipment, approve official records or access restricted systems. What should the candidate understand about this distinct discipline?
Possible learning foundations include thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid machinery, material degradation concepts, machine dynamics, mechanical drawings, maintenance planning, risk reporting and equipment data interpretation. For a graduate trainee, the emphasis is on translating academic models into supervised engineering observations, not receiving an authorised engineer post.
Scope and safety: This vacancy is for one-year Graduate Apprenticeship, not engineer recruitment. Tasks on high-risk/nuclear equipment are never authorised merely by possession of the apprenticeship offer.
High-impact eligibility confusion: The row has 4 seats (SC 1, OBC 1, EWS 1, UR 1); the course pass-out must satisfy the five-year NATS condition as of 18 November 2026.

Graduate Apprentice — Electrical — exact 3-seat apprenticeship decision
What is the role actually offering?
Electrical engineering graduate-level system understanding and documentation is the appropriate discipline-based learning orientation for this post.
Useful academic refreshers include power systems, circuits, electrical machines, control fundamentals, protection philosophy, transformers, safety interlocks as a theory topic, maintenance trends, fault-history interpretation and engineering records. None is a prescribed entrance examination or an approved plant access entitlement.
Scope and safety: A Graduate Apprentice learns through supervised training; there is no promise to operate the grid interconnection, generator or station protection system.
High-impact eligibility confusion: The 3 Graduate Electrical seats are OBC-NCL 1 and UR 2. Do not combine these with three Diploma Electrical seats or 25 ITI Electrician seats to claim a common 31-seat Electrical vacancy.

Description: Base 18–26 years as on 18 November 2026; official table: SC/ST upper cap relaxation up to +5, OBC-NCL +3; PwBD Gen/EWS +10, OBC-NCL +13, SC/ST +15. Subject to category and identified discipline.
Graduate Apprentice — Human Resource — exact 3-seat apprenticeship decision
What is the role actually offering?
People administration, recruitment records and employee-process literacy is the appropriate discipline-based learning orientation for this post.
Official p. 2 roster: 3 seats — SC 0, ST 0, OBC-NCL 1, EWS 0, UR 2. The category figures sum to 3, and none is a second or additional PwBD seat.
Mandatory education: The advert allows recognised general-stream non-engineering graduate degrees (examples BBA, BA, B.Sc., B.Com.) for the administrative Graduate family. An MBA is not separately declared mandatory. Confirm that your selected route is Graduate HR on NATS. The notified qualification route is Graduate, so the qualification must be genuine, full-time/regular and at the appropriate level.
Age at 18 November 2026: base 18–26 years.
Compensation: ₹12,300/month, strictly apprenticeship stipend and not a wage scale. NPCIL does not promise employee allowances, hostel, transport, permanent absorption or a follow-on regular post. The terms differ from a 12-month fixed-term regular officer appointment.
What should the candidate understand about this distinct discipline?
For career-oriented familiarisation, consider staff/trainee onboarding records, employee data quality, training schedules, correspondence tracking, attendance systems, record confidentiality, version-controlled policy forms and the distinction between a training contract and a regular employment contract. None of these is an official syllabus, and sensitive staff records remain governed by NPCIL access rules.
Scope and safety: Apprentices must not be described as having independent authority over HR hiring, discipline, payroll or security screening. The source gives no such power or detailed task order.
High-impact eligibility confusion: The 3 HR seats are OBC-NCL 1 and UR 2. A B.Tech Mechanical candidate should not assume the non-engineering general-degree clause covers them; seek NPCIL clarification rather than a fabricated equivalence.
Application and merit lifecycle for this exact stream
- Confirm recognised eligible non-engineering general-stream graduate degree, base upper age 26 and category validity on 18 November 2026.
APPRENTICESHIP SCOPE ONLY — source does not assign independent employee duties. Focus of the advertised discipline: People administration, recruitment records and employee-process literacy. Editorial training-readiness interpretation (not promised assignments): For career-oriented familiarisation, consider staff/trainee onboarding records, employee data quality, training schedules, correspondence tracking, attendance systems, record confidentiality, version-controlled policy forms and the distinction between a training contract and a regular employment contract. None of these is an official syllabus, and sensitive staff records remain governed by NPCIL access rules. Apprentices must not be described as having independent authority over HR hiring, discipline, payroll or security screening. The source gives no such power or detailed task order.
- Follow only the apprenticeship training plan, safety instructions and lawful station supervision actually allocated after engagement; no independent access or operation implied.
- Present authentic recognised eligible non-engineering general-stream graduate degree and all relevant marks, identity, category and locality documents during verification.

- Diploma/Graduate qualifying award must satisfy the 5-year NATS pass-out window as on 18 Nov 2026.
- Use NATS 2.0 employer establishment NUPBUC093592 AND the independent NPCIL Careers application.

Editorial preparation can cover debit/credit principles, reconciliation logic, invoice/supporting-document matching, budget-vs-actual variance, audit trail completeness, spreadsheet controls, statutory-document filing and the difference between verification and authorisation.
