Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE), Visakhapatnam, has advertised the post of Director. IIPE is an Institute of National Importance established by the Government of India under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
The Employment News advertisement dated 26 September 2026 requires a PhD with first class or equivalent at the applicable preceding Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Geology or Geophysics. It also requires a proven administrative, teaching and research background with leadership qualities.
The detailed IIPE Director advertisement specifies at least 10 years of experience as a Professor in a reputed educational institute comparable to IITs, experience guiding PhD students, and at least 5 years of administrative experience.
