Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB), Government of NCT of Delhi, has notified Combined Examination 2026 under Vacancy Notice/Advertisement No. 04/2026, F.No.1 (452)/P&P/DSSSB/2026/Advt./5114 dated 30 September 2026. DSSSB is conducting the recruitment on behalf of Delhi District Courts for vacancies in District & Sessions Courts and District & Sessions Courts (Family Courts).
The advertisement reports 641 tentative vacancies, including backlog: 27 Senior Personal Assistant, 206 Personal Assistant, 174 Junior Judicial Assistant, 92 Process Server and 142 Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon vacancies. Across all nine department-wise rows, the vertical reservation breakup is UR 217, OBC 176, SC 116, ST 75 and EWS 57. Horizontal reservations include 54 PwBD and 41 Ex-Servicemen vacancies within the notified totals.
Online applications will be accepted only through the DSSSB OARS portal from 6 October 2026 at 12:00 noon to 4 November 2026 at 11:00 PM. Age for all advertised posts is 18 to 27 years and is reckoned as on 1 June 2026. Educational qualification, experience and other eligibility conditions are determined as on the closing date, 4 November 2026.
Graduate-level posts carry post-specific typing and/or shorthand requirements. Senior Personal Assistant requires graduation with shorthand at 110 w.p.m. and typewriting at 40 w.p.m.; Personal Assistant requires graduation, shorthand at 100 w.p.m., typing at 40 w.p.m. and computer knowledge; Junior Judicial Assistant requires graduation with computer typing at 40 w.p.m. Process Server requires the notified matriculation/equivalent qualification together with a valid LMV driving licence and two years of unblemished driving experience. Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon requires matriculation or equivalent.
Selection is post-code specific. Post code 805/26 uses MCQ, descriptive English, shorthand/typing skill test and interview. Post code 806/26 uses MCQ, descriptive English, typing test and interview. Post code 807/26 uses an objective test, qualifying driving test and interview. Post code 808/26 uses an objective test followed by interview. The notification prescribes 0.25 negative marking for each wrong MCQ answer and minimum qualifying standards of 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for OBC (Delhi)/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM in the applicable MCQ/descriptive stages.
The application fee is ₹100. Women candidates and SC, ST, PwBD and eligible Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempt. Payment is accepted only through SBI e-pay. OBC reservation/age-relaxation benefit is restricted to eligible OBC (Delhi) candidates under the conditions stated in the advertisement; OBC (Outside Delhi) candidates are treated as Unreserved.
